What is your role within Happy Jobs NI?
I’m the Account Manager at Happy Jobs NI. My main role is to support the daily functions of the Senior Account Director. This involves completing all phases of the recruitment process from client proposal to handling job offers.
How long have you been working with Happy Jobs NI
I have been working at Happy Jobs NI since March 2022. I am still fairly new to the recruitment industry however I play an important role in understanding the services we provide for our clients and candidates.
What do you love about working for Happy Jobs NI?
I enjoy the open-door policy we have at Happy Jobs NI. This allows me to feel comfortable with communicating any problems or issues I have within my role and it encourages me to be honest and transparent with my manager.
How did your career path take you to the recruitment industry?
I spent a large part of my career in retail providing first class customer service and realised that my passion is providing people with solutions. Following this, I moved into the sales industry where I gained experience and knowledge of delivering expert advice to people in times of stress to help save them money on their bills. Interacting with people is second nature to me and I enjoy helping people to forge new careers in fields that they are truly passionate about.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
A good friend of mine who I play football with advised me to never feel guilty about something you have done to make your life better. I like to call it justified concern instead of guilt.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I’m a huge football fanatic. I live, sleep, and breathe football. I spend a lot of time outside of work watching, playing and reading about football.
Tell me a surprising fact about yourself.
I have multi-coloured eyes. My right eye is mostly brown with a tint of blue and my left eye has a mix of green, blue and brown.
